What is a LotusCarp?
The lotus blossom rises above the muck and remains pure.
The carp swims in circles around
the lotus.
Through the silt suspended in the water, its scales flash in the sun.
Zaozao 藻藻 (she/they/佢/他)
Just some fish who likes to tell stories.
Friends of the Carp
Paintbrushdjinn: A mysterious fairy who made the LotusCarp logo and is responsible for 1000 Lotuses character art. Their art is also featured in the zine "Last Night", which is about something that happened on a road trip they took with the Carp. Did you know that fairies can drive? So can fish, for that matter.

I use the newsletter because I don't want to have to fight the algorithm. LotusCarp will never have an official account on X/Twitter or any Meta site.
